    Innovation and Performance

After several years of research, development and tests, Groupe Tremca introduced, for the first time in the Quebec market, its sound absorbing concrete wall incorporating a blended material using recycled tires. Our sound absorbing concrete wall is intended for users such as cities and the Quebec Ministry of Transportation, which are seeking ways to reduce or eliminate noise pollution caused by road traffic. The wall is also used to reduce noise produced by aerial, railway, commercial and industrial activities, thereby permitting the development of residential projects in formerly noisy areas.

    Elegance and Resistance

As well as effectively reducing noise pollution, Tremca's sound absorbing concrete wall blends beautifully with the landscape, thanks to the versatility of its architectural design.

    Economical and Effective

Tremca's sound absorbing concrete wall stands out from other anti-noise systems due to its ease and speed of installation. Tremca system panels are the biggest of any system on the market; this limits the number of posts and panels required, thereby improving productivity at the site.

    Features

    • Typical panel size: 2.55m x 6.0m
    • Acoustic concrete resistance: 3.5 MPa
    • Structural concrete resistance: 35 MPa
    • Absorption coefficient according to ASTM C423: NRC=0.7
    • Transmission coefficient: STC=42
    • Resistance to freezing-thawing according to ASTM C672 (maximum of 1.5 kg/m2 of loss after 25 cycles)

    Advantages

    • Integrated system with concrete post
    • Durability (does not use any material that may rot, get moldy, or decompose)
    • Acoustic concrete is highly resistant (3.5 MPa)
    • Very economical installation
      • Long span (6.32m from one post center to the next), so less panels to handle and less posts and foundations
      • Concrete post adjustable vertically and horizontally
    • High impact resistance (according to the designer's specifications)
    • Environmental advantage of using recycled used tires
    • Meets the freezing-thawing and noise absorption standards of the Quebec Ministry of Transportation
    • Product made in Quebec
    • Plant certified by the Canadian Standards Association (CSA) ISO 9001:2000
